On July 9, 2026, LocalXpose experienced a 3-hour and 35-minute Management Plane outage that prevented Basic and PRO users in the US, EU, and AP regions from authenticating or managing their tunnels, though previously established tunnels and Enterprise customers remained completely unaffected. The disruption was triggered by an unexpected hardware restart from their cloud provider, which subsequently exposed a single point of failure in the database and a configuration limitation that blocked the cluster's automatic recovery. Service was fully restored at 11:32 UTC after the engineering team identified the issue and manually restarted the cluster and database.
